The Butler County Historical Society has gathered a collection of detailed topographical maps from the region dating back to 1826. The maps are from the David Rumsey Historical Map Collection and are presented here for your enjoyment.

If you like maps or just want to find out what was in a certain area long ago, this is a great site to visit. The maps are from all over the world and are much more detailed than they are shown on this site. David Rumsey has provided a wonderful resource for all of us to use.Give it a try.
